LKNB is once again sending a truck load of gifts and furniture this Holiday to our sister city the 7th Ward New Orleans. But we need your help!
We are planning on sending another tractor trailer load of furniture and Holiday gifts to our Sister City. In order to accomplish this we are asking the community to reach into their pockets and give what they can to help fund the truck and the purchase of gifts for children in need. We are setting a goal of $10,000 to help make this our best Holiday delivery ever. Help us set this Holiday season apart from the every day struggles the people of our Sister City endure every day. One of LKNB's newest partners, Congregation Tikkun v'Or of Ithaca (www.tikkunvor.org), is leading a project to completely rebuild the home of our dear friends Pastor Jerry and Norma Darby. We were fortunate enough to meet the Darbys last April, when our crew of 65 volunteers was in New Orleans. They are long-time friends of Pastor Bruce Davenport, our main contact in New Orleans, and will be strong partners in the recovery of the 7th Ward once they are able to return home. 
We need your ink cartridges to turn them into the needed funds for our work. We'll take any used ink cartridges, toner cartridges, and cell phones. We are also looking for locations to place collection boxes. This is a great opportunity to help us fund raise.
